Greetings Texas FBLA!

My name is Christopher Hulburt, a senior at Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas, and I’m proud to serve as your State President. I am thrilled to be a member of this year’s State Action Team and to coordinate an effective and rewarding State Leadership Conference.

I was introduced to FBLA by two of my close friends during my freshman year. Initially, I was drawn to FBLA by the opportunity to travel. However, I soon realized that FBLA offers an environment where I am able to network with other students and business professionals. Since that realization, I cannot express enough gratitude to FBLA for the experiences that have allowed me to grow! In FBLA, I have learned to better utilize skills such as communication, compassion, and professionalism. My goal is to now extend these opportunities to all members in Texas.

In addition to my involvement in FBLA; I am a member of the National Honor Society, compete in Speech and Debate, and also play varsity football. I have also participated in Student Government, Academic World Quest, and the Lorenzo De Zavala Youth Legislative Session. In my spare time, I enjoy watching TV shows like “The Office” or “Parks & Recreation,” fishing or hiking, and discussing politics with anyone who will listen!

If you have any questions, suggestions or need my support in any way, feel free to approach me at any of our conferences or by email at:
