Greetings Texas FBLA!

My name is Rashu Jain, and I am excited to serve as your 2017-2018 State Reporter/Historian! The State Action Team is already looking forward to the next State Leadership Conference!

This year will be my fourth and final year in Texas FBLA. During these past three years, I have made memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Sitting as a freshman in the audience at my first State Leadership Conference, I would not have been able to even fathom how much of an impact FBLA would have on me. It truly helped me reach new heights. From being my local chapter Historian to becoming the Vice President of Community Service, FBLA has taught me knowledgeable lessons and has helped me paint my path to success. Throughout these years, Texas FBLA has provided me with endless opportunities and I hope to give back more than what this organization has given me. My primary goal is to ensure that the Texan, our Texas FBLA Newsletter, incorporates every aspect of FBLA and represents the voice of all 7 Areas. Our State Action Team has fresh, new ideas planned for this year and we cannot wait to share them with you all!

Apart from being involved in FBLA, I am the Treasurer of Science NHS and a member of Spartans out Serving, NHS, Spanish NHS, Varsity Choir, and Mu Alpha Theta. In my spare time, you may find me hanging out with my friends, watching TV shows such as Hawaii Five-O or The Voice, capturing pictures while exploring, or taking a nap! I would love to get to know you, so please come say hi if you see me! Thank you for this opportunity, and this year I have one challenge for you all: Ignite your Future with Texas FBLA!

If you ever have any questions, concerns, or recommendations, please do not hesitate to contact me! I would love to hear what you have to say!
