Hello Texas FBLA!

Thank you so much for your votes! I am honored to be serving as your 2016-2017 FBLA State Secretary. I am an upcoming senior at Roosevelt High School in Lubbock,Texas. Throughout the years I have served in FBLA I learned to step out of my comfort zone and to take on new challenges. Though senior year may be a bit of a hassle, my duties to maintain a stable chapter will remain a priority. I am the typical girl of the group. On my free time I work part time at a local retail store. I love to dance and style hair, and when I’m really feeling brave I will go to a field and play softball. I have a lot of siblings and I associate with a variety of personalities so I am super easy to get along with. I’ve been involved with FBLA since my freshmen year. I’ve held two local offices, as well as two area offices including area VP, and now serving as a state officer. To be in this position today is a dream of mine. All these leadership opportunities taught me to be open to try new things, even if that means stepping out of your comfort zone. My personal goals as secretary are to encourage members to do the same, to become a part of something big. Along with that I want to get Texas FBLA members recognized for all their hard work they have put into their activities and competitions, by getting them published on the National Leadership Conference magazine. I am more than confident that I, along with the other officers will go the extra mile to making this year successful. I hope your are ready for an exciting year! Texas, its time to let FBLA paint your future!
