Membership Benefits
Thousands of students across the nation are joining Future Business Leaders of America! FBLA is the premier organization for students preparing for careers in business and the largest student business organization in the world with a quarter of a million members. FBLA prepares students for “real-world” professional experiences. Members gain the competitive edge for college and career success.
Education and Curriculum
The national association partners with various organizations to create and promote educational programs and curriculum, and to provide members with unique opportunities to practice the skills and knowledge that they are learning in the classroom.
Community Service Project
Our State Community Service Project entails each Area VP leading their schools in gathering and donating Children’s Books to local hospitals. Member participation in this project is part of the Program of Work, as we plan to post photos of chapter involvement on our social media. Chapters may hold drives for children’s books at their schools. As Texas FBLA we have decided to participate in this Community Service Project so that the involvement of our chapters is maximized. Texas FBLA is asking its chapters to not only participate in any way possible but also document their involvement by posting pictures of their completed drives as well as volunteer work on social media and tagging Texas FBLA.. We will be reposting these photos onto our account as well as including them in a slideshow at the State conference. We will be posting on our Instagram revealing this service project as well as ways every chapter can participate. For any additional questions, please contact any of our state officers as we would be more than happy to help.
Another Community Service Project that Texas FBLA encourages members to participate in is March of Dimes.
Membership Awards
Members and chapters have the opportunity to compete and win awards on the local, state, and national levels.
